Conservation of Giant Panda in China

Introduction：

This course introduces the scientific understanding of the giant panda’s evolution, habitat, reproduction, living environment and the progress of giant panda conservation program in China. Students will spend time shadowing our research team. It also provides an opportunity for the students to visit the giant panda breeding foundation at Djiangyan, Sichuan. Students can discuss questions about the protection, conservation and management of giant panda populations with researchers during the visit. 

This course is suitable for postgraduate students and undergraduates looking to develop specific scientific skills in wildlife conservation.

简介：

本课程从生活习性、进化历史、繁殖方式和栖息环境等方面综合介绍国宝大熊猫，并介绍大熊猫保护现状。通过深入参观大熊猫研究基地，实地观察大熊猫生活，并与饲养人员和相关科研人员交流讨论大熊猫保护问题。
