2006年5月23日至26日，加拿大 Guelph 大学食品工程学院教授 Gauri S. Mittal 先生来我校作了题目为：

“Edible packaging for meat, leafy vegetables, herbs and cookies to replace expanded polystyrene”;

“Novel technologies for food processing”;

“Pasteurization of fruit juice and milk using low energy pulsed electric field & hurled technonlogy” 3 场学术讲座，并与参加学术讲座的教师、硕士研究生进行了交流讨论。
